Esther May (Moyer) Wanner, 87 entered into eternal life on October 20, 2018 at Keystone Villa in Blandon. Born in Richmond Township, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Florence (Mertz) Moyer. She was the husband of Lee Wanner with whom she shared 68 years of marriage in Fleetwood until their move to the Villa.
Esther was an enthusiastic Camp Fire Girl leader, and was an active member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Richmond Township where she served as a Sunday School teacher, choir and consistory member. She was employed by Acme Markets and Fleetwood School District. She was an artist painting more than 10,000 pieces of jewelry.
She is survived by her husband, daughter Linda (Wanner) and her husband Dave Henrich of Sinking Spring, and granddaughter Leah. Esther was predeceased by her brother Charles Moyer.
A casual Celebration Of Esther’s Life will be held at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 219 Maidencreek Rd, Fleetwood on Saturday, November, 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM. The family will greet visitors after the service until 3:30 pm. Burial will be private.
