Amelia Ann "Amy" (Moyer) Mitchell

Amelia Ann "Amy" (Moyer) Mitchell, 75, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.

Born November 19, 1949 in Fairfax County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Lois Lee (McCoy) Kheen and Armon R.B. Moyer.

Amy worked as at Friendly's Restaurant as a waitress and also worked at McDonald's and an ice cream stand. She enjoyed adult coloring books, cooking, baking and especially spending time with her doggies.

Amy is survived by her son, Jimmy M. Kheen, her daughter, Joette L. Ludwig, her grandchildren, Mark, Justin, Rodney, Brandon, Derek, Wesley, and James, several great-grandchildren, her sisters, Jo Frey and Nita Christman, her brother, Buddy Moyer, and by her nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Suzie, Zack, Leah, Tanya, Wesley and Katie.

Along with her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn L. Ludwig, and her sisters, LoisAnn and BethAnn.

Services for Amy will be held privately by her family.
