Andrew Frank Baer

Andrew Frank Baer, age 39 of Kew Gardens, NY and Easton, PA, passed away suddenly on January 23rd, 2024. He is survived by his partner Jennifer MacGregor, Emily Kitt (sister) and her husband Matt Drozdowski, and Sarah Baer (sister) and her husband Jacob Ruttle. He was the son of Frederick Baer, of Bethlehem, and stepson of the late Louise (Nowiak) Baer. Andrew was also a fiercely proud and adoring uncle to Wylie, Jack, and Beatrice. .

Andy loved to paint and draw, and pursued higher education in fine arts at Northampton Community College and Brooklyn College. He was a muralist with El Puente's Muralistas, where he collaborated on community mural projects and mentored teens during the process. He loved painting on the wall and all the camaraderie that came with these projects. His talent astounded anyone who encountered him, as he made artmaking look effortless.

Andy always wanted to make people laugh. He was shy, and could blend into the background, unless he saw an opening for a one liner. He always found a way to squeeze in those one liners or tell you his favorite joke. His laugh was boisterous and contagious, bringing joy to those lucky enough to hear it.
