Anthony J. Jackowski Jr., 70, of DuBois, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Fleetwood, PA.
Born August 5, 1952 in West Reading, he was the son of the late Vivian A. (Davis) and Anthony J. Jackowski Sr. He and the love of his life, his wife of 49 years, Margaret A. (Eshbach) Jackowski, were married on July 21, 1973 in Reading, PA.
Tony served his country honorably and faithfully during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. He spent 22 years in service to his country, retiring as a Sergeant First Class.
Tony was a self-employed contractor for over 30 years. He also served as a Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer for the Pennsylvania Game Commission for 14 years.
Tony was a 1971 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and truly enjoyed hunting, golfing and clay shooting. Most of all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with his wife, daughter and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Margaret, Tony is survived by his daughter, Jaime M. (Jackowski) Brown, wife of Todd A. Brown, Richmond Township, his grandson, Jeffrey, his granddaughter, Jaden, his sister, Nancy Brossman, wife of James Brossman, Muhlenberg, his brother, Richard Jackowski, husband of Beth Jackowski, Mohrsville, and by several nieces and nephews.
Services for Anthony will be held privately. Interment will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
