Mrs. Barbara J. (Chontofalsky) Pinter, 78, of Blandon, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday evening, January 15, 2023 at her home.
Born December 9, 1944 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna (Relovsky) Chontofalsky. She and her husband of 43 years, Charles J. Pinter, were married at Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, on March 17, 1979.
Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for Tom Bass Clothing Store in Bethlehem and also for Service Tire Company, Bethlehem. She was a 1962 graduate of Hellertown High School and a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. She truly enjoyed reading, sewing, decorating her home and doing word search puzzles.
Along with her husband, Charles, Barbara is survived by her children, Gary D. Pinter, husband of Joan (Bauder) Pinter, Allentown, and Donna L. (Pinter) Feiertag, wife of Jason P. Feiertag, Kutztown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ross, Kristie and Greta, her great-granddaughter, Asceniah, her brother Dick Chontofalsky, husband of Pat Chontofalsky, Lebanon, TN, her sister, Judy (Chontofalsky) Ihle, widow of Barry Ihle, Bethlehem, and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Gubish and Nancy's husband Ed Gubish, and by her brother, Donald Chontofalsky.
Memorial Services for Barbara will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 117 E. Arch St, Fleetwood. A visitatation will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will take place in Bethlehem Memorial Park.
