Mrs. Barbara Ann (Reinert) Oswald

Mrs. Barbara Ann (Reinert) Oswald, 92, of Topton, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, PA.

Born March 17, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia (Harpel) Reinert. Her husband of 62 years, Richard C. "Lefty" Oswald, passed away on July 12, 2015.

Barbara was a homemaker who adored raising and caring for her children. She also spent over five years working as a crossing guard in Topton. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Topton, and graduated from the Topton School. She enjoyed watching westerns, decorating for the holidays, and keeping an eye on her neighborhood.

Barbara is survived by her three children, Deborah L. (Oswald) Moyer, wife of Ricky Moyer, Mertztown, David P. Oswald, Topton, and Ann Louise (Oswald) Manmiller, wife of John R. Manmiller, Fleetwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephany, Anthony, Corey, Christian and Tyler, her great-grandchildren, Hunter, Skye, Taylor, Kassidy, Lucas and Chonn, and by her brother, Joel Reinert, Bowers.

Along with her parents and her husband, Richard, Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Sueann Siler, her great-grandson, Frankie, her brothers, Donald Reinert, Dennis Reinert, and Kenneth Reinert, and by her sister, June Snyder.

Services for Barbara will be held privately by her family.
