Carol A. Kasenchak

Carol A. (Johnson) Kasenchak, 73, of Denver, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born June 18, 1942 in Allentown, she was the daughter of Robert M. Johnson, Bethlehem, and the late Roberta (Stocker) Johnson. She and her husband of 56 years, John W. Kasenchak, Sr., were married on June 19, 1959 in Bethlehem.

Carol was a day care teacher for 26 years at Tomorrow's World, Ephrata. She traveled three times to Kenya as a member of a mission team, was a 1960 graduate of Allentown High School and a member of St. Matthew's EC Church, Macungie. Carol enjoyed gardening and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, John and father, Robert, Carol is survived by her children, John W. Kasenchak, Jr., Denver, PA and Terre L. (Kasenchak) Moyer, wife of Fred Moyer, Kutztown, her grandchildren, John V. Kasenchak, Philadelphia, Kimberley A. (Kasenchak) Lawrence, wife of Andrew M. Lawrence, Wernersville, Janna Lee Moyer and her spouse, Jessica Herrera, Fullerton, CA and Jacob A. Moyer, Kutztown. Carol is also survived by her great grandson, Benjamin V. Lawrence and her brother, John S. Johnson, Indian Hills, Colorado.

Memorial Services for Carol will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA with the Rev. Gary J. Dierolf officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
