Carol M. Toye

Carol M. (Schierbaum) Toye, 82, of Breinigsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Allentown.

Born March 31, 1934 in Englewood, NJ, Carol was the daughter of the late Fred and Martha (Gillis) Schierbaum.

Carol worked for over 10 years for M & M Candies, Hackettstown, NJ as a factory worker. She was a 1952 graduate of Hackettstown High School and enjoyed computers, scrabble, crocheting and was an accomplished painter and artist.

Carol is survived her four sons, Russell F. Toye, husband of Evelyn M. (Palmer) Toye, Breinigsville, Ramon R. Toye, East Stroudsburg, Ryan L.M. Toye, Point Pleasant, NJ and Randy L. Toye, East Stroudsburg. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Russell, Robert, Ramon, Matthew, Jessica and Lindsay and 10 great grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Robert T. Toye and her brother Neil Schierbaum.

A Memorial Service for Carol will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 1:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood with Rev. John Folk officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday from Noon to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
