Mrs. Carolyn J. (Naftzinger) Manwiller

June 14, 1931 — February 11, 2024

Mrs. Carolyn J. (Naftzinger) Manwiller, 92, of Ruscombmanor Township, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Keystone Villa at Fleetwood.

Born June 14, 1931, in Centerport, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Mary E. (Freeman) Naftzinger. Her husband of 45 years, John A. Manwiller, passed away in 1997.

Carolyn worked as a seamstress for the Fleetwood Shirt Factory for over 30 years. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Pricetown and a 1949 graduate of Muhlenberg High School. She truly enjoyed spending time with her kids at their sporting and band events and watching baseball.

Carolyn is survived by her four children, Milton H. Manwiller, widower of Marsha K. (Herb) Manwiller, Oley, Kenneth W. Manwiller, husband of Debra A. (Seidel) Manwiller, Oley, Douglas J. Manwiller, husband of Cynthia G. (Gummo) Manwiller, Temple, and Sandra L. (Manwiller) Hinkle, wife of Michael R. Hinkle, Robeson Township. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and her husband, John, Carolyn was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Jared Manwiller, and by her sisters, Reta Kunkleman and Dorothy Grogg.

Services for Carolyn will be held privately by her family. Burial will take place in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
