Catherine S. Kriebel

Catherine S. (Kocher) Kriebel, 39, of Kutztown, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her home.

Born July 21, 1978 in Allentown, she was the daughter of Susan D. (Breiner) and Clifford R. Schlenker, Fleetwood and Richard R. Kocher Jr., Palmerton. She was the wife of Joseph W. Kriebel.

Catherine worked for many years at Turkey Hill, Kutztown and also most recently at the Quality Shoppe, Kutztown. She was a 1997 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and received a certificate in Culinary Arts from Berks Career & Technology Center, East Campus, Oley. Catherine loved cooking and baking as well as fishing, archery and sewing.

Surviving in addition to her parents and husband are her sister, Rebecca J. (Kocher) Graeff, wife of John J. Graeff, Kutztown, her brother, Richard R. Kocher, III, husband of Dianne (Feldman) Kocher, Joplin, MO, nephews Brandon, Matthew and Dalton and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Catherine was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pearl and William Breiner and by her paternal grandparents, Laverne and Richard R. Kocher Sr.

A Memorial Service for Catherine will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 3:00 pm at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 27 Lyons Road, Fleetwood, with Rev. Ruth F. Doty, officiating. A visitation will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the church. Burial will be held privately in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Seiberlingsville, PA.
