Cheryl A. (Ziegler) Sharayko

Cheryl A. (Ziegler) Sharayko, 64, of Bechtelsville, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, PA.

Born March 22, 1958 in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Banyai) Ziegler.

Cheryl was a graduate of Oley Valley High School and went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Kutztown University. Cheryl was a real estate agent for many years, last working for Coldwell Banker Realty, Reading. She was a member of the Rotary Club of Kutztown and truly enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Cheryl is survived by her two daughters, Jacqueline L. Sharayko, companion of Nathan D. Parker, Kutztown, and Jennifer N. (Sharayko) Basca, wife of Matthew D. Basca, Spring City. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Laura, Grant, Caleb, Adalyn, Myles and Parker, by her partner, Rich Adamson, and by her brothers, Robert Ziegler, husband of Karen Ziegler, Bechtelsville, Michael Ziegler, husband of Anita Ziegler, Fleetwood, and Steven Ziegler, Ohio.

Memorial Services for Cheryl will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
