Christopher M. Boyer, 30, of Denver, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Philadelphia.
Born March 8, 1990 in West Chester, he was the son of Michael D. Boyer, Denver, and the late Sandra C. (Kemp) Boyer.
Chris honorably and faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was awarded a Bronze Star for his service while deployed to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terrorism.
Chris was a 2008 graduate of Cocalico High School and studied Electrical Engineering at Harrisburg Area Community College. He loved working out, skateboarding, snowboarding, and playing cornhole. He was a profound writer and a jack of all trades.
Surviving in addition to Chris’ father, are his brothers, Nathan D. Boyer, Nicholas K. Boyer and Noah R. Boyer, all of Denver, his maternal grandparents, Bettie A. (Grimes) and Martin I. Kemp, Sinking Spring, and his paternal grandparents, Deborah G. (Ginder) and Robert A. Boyer, Grandy, North Carolina. He is also survived by his Aunt Sue, Uncle Bud, Aunt Kathy & Uncle Tom, Aunt Jen & Uncle Kevin, Uncle Matt and Aunt Jen, Aunt Amber and Uncle Andy and by his cousins, Lakin, Colton, Connor, Brady, Jack, Erin, Mason, Aiden, Rylan and Nichole.
Along with his mom, Chris was preceded in death by his little cousin, Cayson.
Services and interment with United States Marine Corps Military Honors will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
