Darryl K. Hartman

Darryl K. Hartman, 55, of Kutztown, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born September 12, 1961 in Kutztown, he was the son of Elaine A. (Clemmer) Hartman, Kutztown, and the late Kenneth A. Hartman. He and his wife, Darlene E. (Mason) Hartman, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on October 25, 2016.

Darryl worked for Atlas Minerals and Chemicals, Mertztown for over 27 years. He had also worked in the shipping department of East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc. at their Topton plant for 11 years. Darryl graduated from Kutztown Area High School in 1979 and enjoyed hunting and especially making people laugh.

Surviving in addition to Darryl's wife, Darlene and his mother, Elaine, are his children, Stephen M. Hartman, Kutztown and Jennifer L. Hartman, Kutztown. He is also survived by his brother, Larry K. Hartman, husband of Nancy (Kaufman) Hartman, Shartlesville, his sister, Monica L. (Hartman) Wolfe, Kutztown and his mother-in-law, Charlotte A. (Einsla) Mason, Allentown.

Memorial Services for Darryl will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
