David A. Heffner

David A. Heffner, 52, of Richmond Twp, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born October 29, 1964 in Reading, he was a son of the late John M. and Alice M. (Schwab) Heffner.

David was an RN Supervisor in the healthcare industry and also worked as an Environmental Technical Manager in the waste industry. He was a 1982 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and a 1986 graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry.

David was a faithful member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown, PA.

David is survived by his sister, Marilyn Neider, his brother, John S. Heffner, his nieces, Lisa A. Snyder, wife of Leonard Snyder, Denise M. Nolt, wife of Harold Nolt, and Tina R. Toso, wife of Gregory Toso and his nephew, John V. Heffner, husband of Denise K. Heffner. He is also survived by his great nieces, Alicia M. Seaman, wife of Brian Seaman, Sherri A. Tomaszewski, wife of Janos Tomaszewski, Stephanie A. Stutzman, wife of Matthew Stutzman, Ashley M. Nolt and Kaitlyn Heffner, his great nephews, Tyler R. Nolt, John K. Heffner, Jason Heffner, Evan Toso and Brody Toso, his great-great niece, Kahlan, his great-great nephew James Stutzman and by the Tomaszewski children.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 11, 2017 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown, PA with Rev. Msgr. Walter T. Scheaffer as celebrant. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.

Visitations will be held Friday evening, March 10, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:45 pm and again on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00 to 9:30 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA.

A Prayer Service will be offered by Monsignor Scheaffer on Friday evening, March 10, 2017 at 7:45 pm at the funeral home.
