Mrs. Delores E.K. Blessing

Mrs. Delores E.K. (Krott) Blessing, 88, of Alsace Township, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, April 5, 2023 at her home.

Born May 28, 1934 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel (Barnett) Krott. The love of her life, her husband, John E. Blessing, passed away on February 28, 2010.

Delores was a homemaker who cherished raising her children. She attended Grace Bible Fellowship, Reading, and was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School. She loved crafting, doing puzzles, playing piano, sewing, and doing masonry work.

Delores is survived by her four children, Delores J. Blessing, Orefield, Darlene M. (Blessing) Schadler, wife of Barry N. Schadler, Lyons, Pauline A. (Blessing) Emswiler, wife of Jason R. Emswiler, Shillington, and Jonathan P.F. Blessing, husband of Kimberly M. (Sanders) Blessing, Fleetwood. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew, Robert, Jason, Rachel, Timothy and Abigail, her great-grandchildren, Skylar, Fynn, Saoirse and Arlo, and by her siblings, Gerald Krott, Darlington Krott, Warren Krott, Gertie Graul and Elaine Krott.

Along with her parents and her husband, John, Delores was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Krott, Donald Krott and Carl Krott.

Services for Delores will be held privately at the convenience of her family.
