Deloris D. (Hafer) Beidler

Deloris D. (Hafer) Beidler, 76, of Wyomissing, passed away on Monday morning, July 18, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 22, 1940 in Reading, Deloris was the daughter of the late Wayne L. and Minnie I. (Keller) Hafer. She and her husband of 53 years, Carl L. Beidler, were married on August 21, 1962 in Sinking Spring.

Deloris worked for 25 years for AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Agere, at their Reading office. She spent over 10 years working for Great Valley Savings, Reading, as a Head Teller. She had also worked for Western Electric in the clean room.

Deloris was a Pennsylvania Notary, attended Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ, Wyomissing and was a 1958 graduate of Reading High School.

Deloris loved her family and was known to never miss any of her children or grandchildren's activities. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles and especially camping at the beach in Ocean View, NJ. She was also very fond of lighthouses.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Carl, are her two children, Craig W. Beidler, husband of Melanie A. (Zimmerman) Beidler, Fleetwood and Kim A. (Beidler) Rank, wife of Scott A. Rank, Wyomissing. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam, Amanda, Ashley, Jeremy, Tyler, Cory and Coryn and her great granddaughter Harper.

Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, George Hafer and Foster Hafer and her sister Betty Hafer.

Memorial Services for Deloris will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at Bausman Memorial UCC Church, 1064 Penn Ave, Wyomissing with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Friday at the church.
