Diane G. (Grim) Kopicz

Diane G. (Grim) Kopicz, 80, of Mertztown, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024 at her home.

Born February 27, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Robert O.D. and Gertrude A. (Kunkle) Grim.

Diane had worked at East Penn Manufacturing Co., Inc, Wenton Shoe, the Fleetwood Tannery, and also spent time waitressing and bartending. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of the Oley Valley and a graduate of Kutztown Area High School.

Diane truly enjoyed gardening, bird watching, traveling, photography, fishing, listening to Elvis, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Diane is survived by her five sons, Robert J. Kopicz, Jr., partner of Rebecca A. (Mears) Eilerman, Madison, Alabama, Timothy S. Kopicz, husband of Lisa A. (Eck) Kopicz, Blandon, Paul Harry Kopicz, husband of Tina L. (Csuvay) Kopicz, Fleetwood, Todd A. Kopicz, Alburtis and Christopher E. Kopicz, Alburtis. She is also survived by her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Makenna Kopicz, her grandson, Daniel Kopicz, and her sister, Marlene Grim.

Funeral Services for Diane will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm at New Bethel Zion Cemetery, 1343 Long Ln Rd, Kutztown, PA.
