Dorothy A. (Galati) Yourkavich

Dorothy A. (Galati) Yurkovich, 97, of Kutztown, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Lehigh Center, Macungie.

Born February 17, 1922 in Ambridge, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Loretta (Hanlon) Galati. She was the widow of Merle R. Yurkovich.

Dorothy attended Ambridge High School, enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful wife and mother.

Services for Dorothy will be private.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Dessa D. (Yurkovich) McCormick, widow of R. James McCormick, her brother, Vincent Galati, husband of Linda Galati, Irwin, PA, and by many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Merle, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth, Ellen, Harriet and Evelyn, and her brother, Samuel.
