Mrs. Edna M. (Erb) Benjamin, 92, of Oley, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at her home.
Born July 8, 1930 in Mertztown, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Wetzel) Erb. Her husband of 34 years, William S. Benjamin, passed away in 1981.
Edna worked for over 50 years as a cook at the Pike Township Sportsmen's Association. She truly loved working and doing word search puzzles.
Edna is survived by her six children, Ronald Benjamin, husband of Bonnie Benjamin, Boyertown, Joy Freed, wife of Daniel Freed, Allentown, Toni Shankweiler, wife of Timothy Shankweiler, Alburtis, Pauline Dierolf, wife of Donald Dierolf, Oley, Barry Benjamin, husband of Connie Benjamin, Fleetwood, and Tina Hodge, wife of Michael Hodge, Oley. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Grace, Shirley, Alice, Helen, Gloria, Larry and Harold.
Along with her parents and her husband, William, she was preceded in death by her son, William Benjamin Jr., her daughter, Linda Fink, and her grandson, Joshua Bohn.
Funeral Services for Edna will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 10:30 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis.
Viewings will be held for Edna on Monday, August 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, August 23rd from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
