Edward W. Jentgens Jr

Edward W. Jentgens Jr., 80, of Blandon, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

Born August 19, 1936 in Tarentum, PA, he was the son of the late Edward W. and Elsie (Young) Jentgens Sr. He and his wife, Maria T. (Juszkiewicz) Jentgens, were married on September 18, 1999 in San Francisco, CA.

Edward worked for over 42 years for Lukens Steel Company, Coatesville, PA, were he was a General Foreman. He graduated from Sheppton High School. Edward loved the Phillies and also enjoyed gardening and camping.

In addition to his wife, Maria, Edward is survived by his children, Debra L. (Osborne) Hoffman, wife of Joseph Hoffman, Honey Brook, Christina M. (Jentgens) Yasso, wife of Robert C. Yasso, Blandon, and Edward W. Jentgens, III, Las Vegas, NV, his step-children, Agnieszka Lackman, wife of Mark Lackman, Mohnton, and Genowefa Frederick, Coatesville.

Edward is also survived by his grandchildren, Coty, Kayla, Blaze and Heather, his great grandson, Frankie, his step-grandchildren, Mary, Johnny, Jennifer, Abigail and Megan, his brothers and sisters Sue Wallace, Bradenton, FL, Patty Krutz, Jeansville, PA, Thomas Krutz, Columbus, GA, and Elsie Bevins, Jeansville, PA and by his step-brothers and sisters, Olivia Phillips, Brackenridge, PA and Denny Jentgens, Florida.

In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his sister Kathy Kraus and his brothers, Franklin Krutz and Clifford Krutz.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Edward at his home in Blandon on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
