Elba I. Gonzalez

Elba I. Gonzalez, 83, of Exeter Township, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Reading Hospital.

Born July 15, 1933 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Elba was the daughter of the late Andres and Maria (Vazquez) Gonzalez.

Elba was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, dancing, gardening and especially cooking.

She is survived by her daughters, Nelly Torres, wife of Juan NuA�ez, Jersey City, NJ, Minerva Torres, Jersey City, NJ, Carmen (Alvarez) Baez, wife of Jose Antonio Baez, Wernersville, Migdalia (Alvarez) Hiraldo, wife of JorgAC. Hiraldo, Reading, Brenda Ovid, wife of Anthony Ovid, Reading and Milta Saturria, Reading. She is also survived by her 32 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and her siblings, Anna Maria Quilan, Andres Gonzalez and Joito Gonzalez.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Angel Roman, her children, Maria Torres, Martha Torres and Angel Luis Torres, her brothers, Miguel Gonzalez Manuel Gonzalez and Juan Luis Gonzalez, and by her sister Milagros Gonzalez.

Funeral Services for Elba will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. A viewing will be held Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
