Emory G. Wehr Jr.

Emory G. Wehr Jr., 66, of Blandon, PA, passed away at his home at 5:13 am, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Born January 22, 1959 in Reading, Emory was the son of the late Margaret M. (Smith) and Emory G. Wehr Sr.

Emory worked for 45 years for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. (Deka Battery), in the A2 Finishing Line.

He was a member of the Blandon Fire Company, where he was active in the pool league, as well as the Alsace Manor Fire Company. He was a 1976 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, and truly enjoyed shooting pool, riding his Harley, hunting and demolition derbies.

Emory is survived by his daughters, Erin L. Wehr, West Lawn, and Megan A. (Wehr) Burkett, wife of Joshua R. Burkett, Denver, the mother of his children, Marjory K. Pfennig, West Lawn, his grandchildren, Kiayrah, Dakota, Austin, Asanti, Dixie, and Mason, his great-grandson, Atlas, his brothers, Robin E. Wehr, Mark T. Wehr, and Ricky S. Wehr, and by many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Emory was preceded in death by his companion, Tamma Katzenmoyer, his brothers, Wayde R. Wehr and Tracey K. Wehr, and by his nephew Joseph A. Wehr.

Services for Emory will be held privately by his family.
