Florin Carjan

Florin Carjan, 66, of Robesonia, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 23, 1950 in Romania, Florin was the son of Maria (Radasanu) Carjan, Robesonia and the late Mircea Carjan. He and his wife, Rodica (Mesinschi) Carjan, celebrated their 42 wedding anniversary on June 7, 2016.

Florin worked as an engineer for Schuylkill Valley Engineering, Reading since 2003. Prior to that, he was employed for 15 years as an engineer for David Blackmore & Associates, Pottstown. He had also worked for many years as an engineer in Romania.

Florin was a member of the Spring Valley Church of God, Temple. He was valedictorian in high school prior to graduating from an engineering college in Romania. He loved to play Sudoku and chess and spent many years as a soccer coach. Florin was also a veteran of the Romanian Army.

In addition to his wife, Rodica, Florin is survived by his children, Amalia C. (Carjan) Kline, Robesonia, Maria M. Carjan, West Lawn and Victor A. Carjan, Robesonia. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amber N. Kline, Aiden J. Dojan and Isis M. Dojan.

Florin was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey B. Carjan on December 7, 2015.

Funeral Services for Florin will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 22, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Florin's memory to the Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd, Temple, PA 19560.
