Greg W. Wentzel

Greg W. Wentzel, 59, of Hamburg, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.

Born December 1, 1962 in West Reading, he was the son of Bonnie C. (Williams) Gallardo, Hemet, California, and LeRoy C. Wentzel, New Ringgold, PA.

Greg worked for Berks County in the mental health department and also worked for S.A.M. as a mental health counselor. He was a former member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Reading, and a 1981 graduate of Reading High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales and his master's degree from Alvernia University.

In addition to his Mom and Dad, Greg is survived by his brother, David C. Wentzel, Temple, his sister, Karen M. (Wentzel) Hess, wife of Troy M. Hess, Temple, and by several nieces and nephews.

Greg was preceded in death by his brother, LeRoy Glenn Wentzel.
