Harold M. "Harry" Geidner, 57, of Fleetwood, passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born October 28, 1963 in Allentown, he was the son of the late James and Edna (Kuhns) Geidner. Harold met the love of his life, Susan M. (Delia) Geidner, when they were both 16. He even commented the first time he saw her, "I'm gonna marry that girl!". True to his word, Harry married Susan on August 20, 1983 in Allentown.
After graduating from Parkland High School in 1981, Harry served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Army, having been stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
Harry went on to work for Tom Schaeffer's RV in Shoemakersville for 26 years. He then started his own company, RV Mobile Repair, which he operated until 2020 when he became ill.
Harry was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Kutztown. He was active in the community as a coach for youth baseball and soccer. Harry loved golfing, watching sports, spending time outdoors and at the beach and Nascar. Most of all, Harry truly loved spending time with his three grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Susan, are his three children, Ashley M. (Geidner) Breidenstein, wife of Jeremy N. Breidenstein, Blandon, Matthew P. Geidner, husband of Ellen M. (Brylewski) Geidner, Pottsville and Zachary J. Geidner, partner of Osniel Granja, Orlando, FL. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Grayson, Brielle and Salvatore, his brothers and sisters, Judy Hartzell, wife of Alan Hartzell, Schnecksville, Jim Geidner, husband of Paula Geidner, Alburtis, and Barbara Beidelman, wife of Nick Beidelman, Schnecksville, his father-in-law, Paul J. Delia, Jr., widower of Dianne (Gorsko) Delia, Altamonte Springs, FL, his sister-in-law, Nan J. Wellons, wife of William Wellons, Apopka, FL and by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Harry will be held on Friday evening, April 23, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Harry's memory to the Tisch Brain Tumor Center, DUMC BOX 3624, Durham, NC 27710.
