Howard P. Lang, 88, of Kutztown, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 30, 1932 in Irvington, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Regina F. (Edelman) and Peter Lang. Howard’s wife of 52 years, Martha J. (Lambing) Lang, passed away on May 8, 2017.
Howard served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Army as a Corporal during the Korean War.
Howard worked in drafting for Western Electric for 31 years. He attended Bethel Bible Fellowship, Emmaus and a 1950 graduate of Union High School, Union, New Jersey. He truly enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.
Howard is survived by his sons, Peter H. Lang, husband of Daphne A. (Peters) Lang, Kutztown and Albert L. Lang, husband of Lucinda A. (Ellenburg) Lang, Jefferson City, TN. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Harper, Maggie, Sarah, Gracie Li, Pierson, Winston, Cargan and Moriah.
Along with his parents and his wife, Martha, Howard was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Stevenson.
Private funeral services for Howard will be held with burial to follow in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
