Irwin G. Radermacher

Irwin G. Radermacher Sr., 80, of Richmond Twp, passed away on Tuesday evening, November 15, 2016 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp, PA.

Born November 18, 1935 in Richmond Twp, he was the son of the late Irwin G. and Alice S. (Krause) Radermacher. He and his wife of 60 years, Jacqueline F. (Bowman) Radermacher, were married on March 21, 1956.

Irwin was a longtime employee of East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc., Lyons, where he was a stacker / burner. He also spent several years as a roofer. Irwin was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church, Temple, attended Muhlenberg High School and enjoyed trains, cars and especially model airplanes.

In addition to his wife, Jacqueline, Irwin is survived by his children, Randall I. Radermacher, husband of Margaret (Fowler) Radermacher, New Castle, PA, Guy A. Radermacher, husband of Paula (Guldin) Radermacher, Greenwich Twp, Robert A. Radermacher, Richmond Twp, Mary A. (Radermacher) Madeira, wife of Keith Madeira, Frackville, Michaela Z. Radermacher, West Lawn and Nathan J. Radermacher, husband of Kristin (Bayer) Radermacher, Kenhorst. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Irwin was preceded in death by his children, Ronald G. Radermacher, Irwin G. Radermacher Jr. and Kim A. Radermacher, and his sister, Esther Stoneback.

Funeral Services for Irwin will be held on Sunday evening, November 20, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. A viewing will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Irwin's memory to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
