James D. "Jim" Cotter

Jim D. Cotter, 65, of Kutztown, passed away on Saturday evening, November 21, 2015 at his home.

Born February 22, 1950 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late James F. and Jane A. (Adam) Cotter. He and his wife, Nancee L. (Kutchera) Cotter, were married on September 23, 1978 in Perkasie, PA.

Jim owned and operated GTG Interiors, Inc. for many years, repairing and re-conditioning auto interiors. He enjoyed slot car racing, antiquing and handgunning. He was a 1968 graduate of Henderson High School, West Chester, PA.

In addition to his wife, Nancee, Jim is survived by his daughter, Erin A. (Cotter) Mayer, wife of Manuel Mayer, Phlugerville, TX, his granddaughters, Makena Szejko, Anya Mayer, Cora Mayer, his brother John A., husband of Nancy Cotter, Avondale, PA and his sister, Nancy C. (Cotter) Hoffman, wife of Gary Hoffman, Eagles Mere, PA.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Cheri (Cotter) Simon and her husband Tom Simon.
