Mrs. Jane E. (Correll) Haldeman

Mrs. Jane E. (Correll) Haldeman, 70, of Slatedale, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday morning, April 19, 2023 in Blandon, PA.

Born August 8, 1952 in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Carl C. and Marie E. (Werley) Correll. Her husband, Clinton C. Haldeman, passed away in 2005.

Jane worked in dietary management at the Allentown State Hospital for over 25 years. She was a longtime active member of the American Legion, Allen O. Delke Post 16, Slatington. Jane was a 1970 graduate of Slatington High School.

Jane enjoyed crocheting, weekends in the mountains and hunting. She was known throughout her neighborhood as a caretaker to many. She loved cooking, baking and caring for those in her neighborhood when they needed help.

Jane is survived by her twin sister, Joan M. (Correll) Rissmiller, wife of Glenn R. Rissmiller, Blandon, her sisters, Bonnie L. (Correll) Brozey, widow of Dennis E. Brozey, Allentown, Brenda K. (Correll) Mankos, New Tripoli, and Donna L. (Correll) Marsh, Jacksonville, Florida. She is also survived by her niece, Lisa M. (Rissmiller) Bernet, wife of Robert M. Bernet, Blandon, her nephew, Steven J. Bailey, Slatington, her niece Tracy A. (Rissmiller) Patterson, wife of Timothy A. Patterson, Denver, PA, and by several other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jane on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the American Legion, Allen O. Delke Post 16, 510 Main Street, Slatington, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the American Legion, Allen O. Delke Post 16, 510 Main Street, Slatington, PA 18080.
