Janet B. Ross

Janet B. (Bennett) Ross, 91, of Robeson Twp, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township.

Born March 22, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Lucetta (Rodel) Bennett.

Janet spent many years working as a data typist for the Internal Revenue Service. She was a 1944 graduate of Simon Gratz High School, Philadelphia and enjoyed bowling, crocheting and especially taking care of her family.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Janet (Ross) Schaffer, wife of John J. Schaffer, III, Blandon and Diane (Ross) Moyer, Morgantown. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

Funeral Services for Janet will be private.
