Joseph L. "Joe" Fryzol

Joseph L. Fryzol, 84, of Trexlertown, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at his home.

Born September 14, 1940 in Reading, PA, Joe was the son of the late Lester and Josephine (Jordan) Paine. He and the love of his life, his wife of 65 years, Joyce L. (Baker) Fryzol, were married in Reading, PA on May 9, 1959.

Joe served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Army from 1961 to 1964.

Joe owned and operated Jet Office Equipment for 12 years. He also worked as a shuttle driver for Knopf Mercedes, Allentown. Joe was a former member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Kutztown, and a 1958 gradute of Reading High School.

Joe was the world's number one New York Jets fan. The only thing as important to Joe than his Jets was his love for Elvis.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Joyce, are his four children, Joseph L. Fryzol, husband of Margaret P. (Greenawald) Fryzol, Reading, Jolene L. (Fryzol) Usher, wife of Thomas P. Usher, Reading, John L. Fryzol, husband of Karen A. (Bailey) Fryzol, Macungie, and Jasen L. Fryzol, husband of Corazon "Carrie" (Thalassites) Fryzol, Brooksville, FL. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather and her husband Jeremy, Andrew and his wife Genna, Nathan and his wife, Carrie, Patrick and his wife, Emily, Katelyn and her husband, Trevor, Samantha, Kyle, Allison and Jillian, by his great-grandchildren, Abner, Hoke, Alexandra, Greysen, Taylor, Makynzie, Paisley, and two on the way, and by his sister, MaryJo (Fryzol) Simmons, Allentown.

Memorial Services for Joe, with Military Honors provided by the Ray A. Master, American Legion Post 217, Topton, will be held privately.
