Juan Navedo, Jr., 63, of Stevens, PA, passed away on Saturday evening, January 27, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born April 22, 1954 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Carmen L. Garcia, Reading and the late Juan Concepcion Navedo.
Juan worked for many years as a painter and in the lumber industry and was of the Pentecostal faith. He enjoyed cooking, cleaning, fishing, gardening, studying the word of God and most of all, his family.
In addition to his mother, Carmen, Juan is survived by his fiancAC.e, Deborah L. Flahart, his children, Angela M. Anspach, Reading, Juan Navedo, III, husband of Shanda Navedo, Reading, Joshua R. Navedo, Bern Twp, Michael J. Navedo, Lancaster and Maraya M. Navedo, Elkton, Kentucky and his step-daughter, Ruby L. Flahart, at home. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and his siblings, Ceferino Hernandez, Reading, Wanda Troche, Reading, Denise Garcia, Reading, Jose M. Garcia, Pembroke Pines, FL, Fritzi Lebron, Fredericksburg, PA, Pablo T. Lebron, Reading, Gloria Hernandez, Reading and Clarisol Saez, Reading.
Along with his father, Juan was preceded in death by a son, Carmelo Navedo and his siblings, Luis, Juana, Angel and Julio.
Funeral Services for Juan will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, with Pastor Israel Vega officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
