Kenneth R. Fegley, 92, of Rockland Township, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday morning, May 8, 2022 at his home.
Born May 29, 1929 in Rockland Township, he was the son of the late Edison and Mabel (Angstadt) Fegley. He and his wife of 49 years, Shirley E. (Weil) Fegley, were married on December 29, 1972 in Pricetown.
Ken worked for Red Cheek Beverage Works in Fleetwood. He also drove truck for several companies including Lyle Mohr and owned and operated his own stone mason business. Ken was a member of the Pike Township Sportsman's Association and a former member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Dryville. He truly enjoyed woodworking and even built the last two homes he and Shirley have lived in.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Shirley, are his children, Dolores A. (Fegley) Isamoyer, widow of James C. Isamoyer, Topton, Kevin R. Fegley, husband of Karen L. (Eckert) Fegley, Fleetwood, Kerry R. Fegley, husband of Jacky S. (Rutowski) Fegley, Fleetwood, Karen R. (Fegley) Esterly, wife of Gregory L. Esterly Sr., Macungie, and Kimberly R. (Fegley) Miller, wife of David E. Miller Jr., Kutztown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Mark Isamoyer, Stephen Fegley, Andrew Fegley, Jennifer Fegley, Benjamin Fegley, Samantha Rutowski, Sabrina (Rutowski) Woolf, Peter Wharton Jr., Kristin L. (Esterly) Dibler, and Gregory L. Esterly Jr., his great-grandchildren, Elizabeth (Isamoyer) Moser, Maggie Isamoyer, Allison Isamoyer, Carson Isamoyer, Landen Fegley, Brantley Fegley, McKenzie Fegley, Daphney Gingrich, Emma Woolf, Layla Dibler, Marlee Dibler, Cassidy Dibler, his great-great-grandchildren, Sadie Moser and Easton Moser, and by his siblings, Janet F. (Fegley) Hafer, widow of John Hafer, Joyce D. (Fegley) Grim, wife of Robert Grim, and Lynnwood N. Fegley, husband of Barbara (Strothers) Fegley.
Along with his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his grandson, Brian Isamoyer and his siblings, Marvin L. Fegley and his wife, Geraldine (Ober) Fegley and Jean E. (Fegley) McCulley and her husband Wesley McCulley.
Funeral Services for Ken will be held on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Dryville.
A viewing will be held for Ken on Friday from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home.
