Laila A. (Adam) Wesner, 99, of Richmond Township, went to her eternal home in heaven to be with Jesus Christ, her eternal savior, on Tuesday morning, June 29, 2021.
Born October 30, 1921 in Maxatawny Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ida (Sunday) Adam. Her husband of 62 years, Paul L. Wesner, whom she married on June 28, 1941, passed away on February 9, 2004.
Laila was a homemaker who proudly raised her six children. She was a member of Trinity Bible Fellowship, Blandon and attended Deturks School. Laila enjoyed quilting, crotcheting, growing zinnias, and providing for her family from her garden.
Laila is survived by four children, Helen M. (Wesner) Kutz, wife of Larry Kutz, Kutztown, Barry K. Wesner, Centerport, Carol A. (Wesner) Adams, wife of John Adams, Temple, and Darlene M. Wesner, Richmond Township. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Larry Jr., Craig, Karen, Steven, Eric, Austin, Ryan, Stewart, and Josiah and her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Brandon, Jamie, Paul, Owen, Megan and Reagan.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Laila was preceded in death by her sons, Edwin Wesner and Donald Wesner and by 14 brothers and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held for Laila on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Trinity Bible Fellowship, 220 Main St, Blandon. A viewing will be held for Laila on Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of services at the church. Burial will follow the service in Fleetwood Cemetery.
