Larry L. Buck Sr

Larry L. Buck Sr., 79, of Rockland Twp, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Evans Retirement Center, Fleetwood.

Born March 28, 1937 in Canton, OH, he was the son of the late Emerson and Georgia Buck. His wife of over 35 years, Doris E. (Gehris) Buck, passed away on July 31, 2011.

Larry was a lifelong truck driver. He retired in 2013 after working 20 years for F.M. Brown's Sons, Inc., Fleetwood. He was a graduate of Clearfield High School, Clearfield, PA and attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God, West Lawn. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Larry also served in the United States Air Force.

Larry is survived by his sons, Gordon L. Weiss, husband of Gary G. Emes, Fleetwood and Larry L. Buck Jr., husband of Shirley A. (Greiss) Buck, Mertztown. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Matthew, Amber, Briana, Selena, Joshua, Neil Scott, Robin, Clarissa and Melissa, his great grandchildren Dominick, Connor and Weston and his siblings, Dolly and Jan.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his son, Neil Buck, his daughter, Loreen Wommer and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services for Larry will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood with Rev. Gary L. Walbert, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
