Laurance G. "Larry" Herbert

Laurance G. "Larry" Herbert, 78, of Macungie, passed away in the early morning of November 4, 2021 after battling cancer. He was the loving husband of Marilyn (Schein) Herbert. He was the son of the late Dr. John Frederick Herbert and Ruth Herbert. He served in the Air Force.

He was retired after working several jobs in his lifetime. He was a member of Longswamp Lions Club, a member of the Lehigh Blue Lodge and the Allentown Scottish Rite, and a member of the East Penn Order of the Eastern Star.

His passion was doing woodworking and playing and taking care of his dogs. He was a member of Christ Mertz Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. Besides his wife, he is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, second cousins and his dog, Chloe.

Visitations will be held for Larry on Monday evening, November 8, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and again on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA.

Funeral Services for Larry will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Laureldale Cemetery, Tuckerton.
