Leroy R. Moll

LeRoy R. Moll, 89, of Birdsboro, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Berks Heim, Bern Township.

Born January 1, 1929 in Molltown, he was the son of the late Samuel R. and Edna (Schaeffer) Moll. His wife, Mabel Moll, preceded him in death.

LeRoy served his country faithfully and honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

LeRoy worked for many years as a tool and die maker for the Reading Railroad. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Birdsboro and a graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and enjoyed golfing.

LeRoy is survived by his step-daughter, Brenda (Cataldi) Schaeffer, Douglassville, his grandchildren, Dean F. Schaeffer, husband of Sherri L. (Clark) Schaeffer, Douglassville and Lynanne Schaeffer, King of Prussia, his great grandchildren, Steve, Rebecca and David and his great-great grandchildren, Hailey, Robbie, Chevelle and Lily. He is also survived by his brother, Donald, his sister, Jean and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife, Mabel, LeRoy was preceded in death by his brother and sisters, Elsie, Dorothy and Bernard.

Funeral Services for LeRoy will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Walbert Funeral Home & Cremation Services, PC, 14390 Kutztown Road, Fleetwood, PA with Rev. Gary L. Walbert, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's UCC Cemetery, (Richmond Township) Molltown. A viewing for LeRoy will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
