Leroy P. Schaeffer

Leroy P. Schaeffer, 68, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.

Born July 2, 1952, Lee was the son of the late Betty (Scherer) Miller and Bud Hauser.

Lee was a hairdresser for nearly 50 years. He owned and operated Hair Additions by Lee in Wyomissing where, in addition to hairstyling, he proudly made wigs for people suffering from cancer.

Lee was a 1970 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and went on to graduate from Empire Beauty School. Lee enjoyed rescuing dogs and watching TV.

Lee is survived by his siblings, Susan (Schaeffer) Boyer, wife of Barry Boyer, James Schaeffer, husband of Sherry (Calabro) Schaeffer, Cindy (Schaeffer) Kerr, wife of Dave Kerr, Karen (Schaeffer) Zweizig, wife of Clay Zweizig and Bruce Schaeffer, widower of Betty Schaeffer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death bv his brother, Anthony, in infancy.

Services for Lee will be private.
