Linda L. DeLong

Linda L. (Bucks) DeLong, 67, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at home.

Born July 2, 1948 in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Lester S. and Verna A. (Oswald) Bucks.

Linda had worked at Pizza Hut, Muhlenberg Twp, for many years as a waitress and cook. She had attended Kutztown High School and was of the Christian faith. She had also been a spokeswoman for a local dialysis organization. She was an avid bingo player.

Linda is survived by her son, Christopher M. DeLong, sister, Joan M. (Bucks) Schmid, Slatington, her niece, Amy L. (Schmid) Dietrich, wife of Kyle D. Dietrich, Trexlertown and her nephew George W. Schmid III, Macungie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Glennwood F. Bucks.

Graveside Services for Linda will be held on Monday, December 21, at 10:00 am at Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown.
