Mrs. Linda M. Stitzer

Linda M. (Hoch) Stitzer, 73, of Kutztown, passed away early Monday morning, August 8, 2022 at her home.

Born August 16, 1948 in Kutztown, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Ethel (Balthaser) Hoch. She and her husband of 51 years, Leroy A. Stitzer, were married on July 4, 1971 in City Park, Reading.

Linda worked in accounts payable for 37 years at Kutztown University. She was a 1967 graduate of Kutztown Area High School and truly enjoyed helping others, crocheting and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Leroy, Linda is survived by her daughters, Lynn A. (Stitzer) Hilbert, wife of Scott T. Hilbert, Kutztown, and Lisa M. Stitzer, Pottsville. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Bridget, Abigail and Carlee, her sister, Judy Daub, widow of Curtis Daub, Kutztown, and by her brothers, John F. Hoch Jr., husband of Rosemary Hoch, Kutztown and James Hoch, husband of Jane Hoch, Kutztown.

Funeral Services for Linda will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood, PA. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.

A viewing for Linda will be held on Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
