Mrs. Linda M. (Stout) Kaufman

Linda M. (Stout) Kaufman, 77, of Temple, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, PA.

Born April 29, 1945 in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Verna V. (Keller) Stout. She and her husband of 59 years, Scott D. Kaufman Sr., were married on August 11, 1962 in Spies-Zion Lutheran Church, Alsace Township.

Linda was a homemaker who lovingly raised her three children. She also spent time working at Tarsus in Fleetwood and the Dollar General, Kutztown. She was a Jehovah's Witness and attended Oley Valley High School. Most of all, Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and cooking, sewing, animals and gardening.

In addition to her husband, Scott, Linda is survived by her children, Dawn H. (Kaufman) Wessner, widow of Richard S. Wessner, Temple, Scott D. Kaufman Jr., Schuylkill Haven, and April L. (Kaufman) North, wife of Michael North, Dover, Delaware. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kurtis, Amber, Sean, Alyssa and Kyle, her great-grandchildren, Joseph, McKenzie, Makayla, Kirsten, Xavian and Jayden and by her brother, Robert J. Stout, Orwigsburg.

Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua.

Services for Linda will be private.
