Loretta M. "Mom" (Bower) Fritch
Loretta M. "Mom" (Bower) Fritch, 72, of Topton, died Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born January 27, 1943 in Allentown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Dorothy (Roth) and Paul Bower. She and her husband, Charles H. Fritch, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on January 28.
Loretta worked for many years at Jak's Downtown Diner, Topton and had attended Emmaus High School. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton and was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her trips to the casinos.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Charles, are her three children, Jeffrey K., husband of Susan (Miller) Fritch, Mertztown, Timothy P., husband of Tammy (Solt) Fritch, Topton, and Cindy A. (Fritch), wife of Timothy Ruth, Allentown. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason Fritch, Alan Fritch, Adam Fritch, Erin Fritch and Madison Reichard; her great granddaughter, Brooklyn Fritch; her sisters Linda (Bower) DeMauriac, Macungie and Geraldine (Bower) Krauss, Mertztown and her brother Lewis Bower, Walnutport. Loretta is also survived by her dear adopted son, Jeffrey Ponce.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Fritch on April 1, 1963.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 121 S. Home Ave, Topton, with Rev. Norman E. Dresher, officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street Columbus, OH 43214 or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
