Madeline A. (Santoro) Malizia, 96, of Kutztown, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021, at Penn State Health, St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Township, PA.
Born June 7, 1925, in Morristown, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Nelo and Mary Santoro. Her husband, Fred A. Malizia, passed away on April 20, 1993.
Madeline was a homemaker and loved volunteering and helping with meals and crafts at Saucony Meadows, Kutztown. She was a former member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Morristown, New Jersey.
Madeline is survived by her two children, Neil A. Malizia, husband of Karen A. (Ackerman) Malizia, Fleetwood, and Judy A. (Malizia) Morici, wife of Vincent Morici, Parsippany, NJ, and by her daughter-in-law, Vicki Malizia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John, Melanie, Matthew, Brandon, Lauren, Neil, Chris, Kyle, Kasey, Courtney, Mya, Stacey, and Kim, and by her great-grandchildren, Noah, Megan, Erin, Zachary, Laura, Cooper, Alex, Sarp, Dimet, and by 6 additional great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her son, Fred.
Private Services and Entombment were held at Holy Rood Cemetery, Morristown, New Jersey.
