Marla S.A. (DeTurck) Prater

Marla S.A. (DeTurck) Prater, 45, of Coal Township, PA, passed away on December 28, 2021 at her home.

Born September 22, 1976 in Kokomo, IN, she was the daughter of Sylvia J. (Sandridge) DeTurck, Mohnton, and the late Elmer DeTurck. She was the widow of Darnell Prater.

Marla was a 1995 graduate of Muhlenberg High School and attended Reading Area Community College. She truly enjoyed reading and going to church.

In addition to her Mom, Sylvia, Marla is survived by her children, Christian C. Dietrich, Andrew J. Thomas and Abbyrose S. Thomas, her sisters, Julie A. (DeTurck) Dietrich, wife of David R. Dietrich, Fleetwood, and Melissa A. (DeTurck) Farabaugh, Bernville, and by her brother, Daniel B. DeTurck, husband of Michelle DeTurck, Reading.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family Burial will take place in St. Peter's UCC Cemetery, Molltown.
