Mary Ann Greenawalt

Mary Ann (Ray) Greenawalt, 67, of Amity Twp, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, PA.

Born February 27, 1950 in Spangler, PA, she was the daughter of Helen E. (Hrubocak) Ray, Pottstown and the late John J. Ray. Her husband of 28 years, Terry L. Greenawalt, passed away in 1995.

Mary Ann worked for many years as a special needs aide for KenCrest Services, Pottstown. She attended Pottstown High School and loved watching her soap operas.

Along with her mother, Helen, Mary Ann is survived by her son, Chad M. Greenawalt, and his companion Barbie Weller, Exeter Twp, her grandchildren, Trisha, Jamie, C.J., Michael, Heaven and Joey and her great grandchildren, Adrianna and Aubree. She is also survived by her sisters, Mildred (Ray) Gresh, wife of Gregory Gresh, Florida and Barbara J. (Ray) Soos-Hunsberger, wife of William W. Hunsberger, Pottstown, her brother, Rickie A. Ray, husband of Annette (Lenhart) Ray, Pottstown, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and father, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her two sons, Kevin Greenawalt and Chris Greenawalt.

A Memorial Service for Mary Ann will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Ave, Pottstown, PA.
