Mrs. Mary A. (Stratford) Wilkinson

Mrs. Mary A. (Stratford) Wilkinson, 90, of Kutztown, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024 at the Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born November 5, 1933 in Newton, Kansas, Mary was the daughter of the late Ray and Audrey (Newton) Stratford. She and her husband of 73 years, Joseph L. Wilkinson, were married on June 10, 1951 in Cedar Vale, Kansas.

Mary worked as a school teacher for five years in pre-school and special needs schools. She also worked as a nurses aid for seven years. Mary graduated from Cedar Vale High School and attended San Antonio College. She truly enjoyed decorating doll houses.

In addition to her husband, Joseph, Mary is survived by her children, Katherine J. (Wilkinson) Goldberger, wife of Arthur Goldberger, Kutztown, Michael R. Wilkinson, husband of Jeanie Wilkinson, Spring, Texas, and Robert L. Wilkinson, Louisville, KY. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sheila (Hall) Wilkinson, her grandchildren, Shawnee, Sreece, Camron, Tiffany, Michelle and Dylan, and her great-grandchildren, Logan, Deanna, and Kit.

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Mark O. Wilkinson, and her sister, Virginia Griffith.

Services for Mary will be held privately by her family. Burial will take place in Hope Cemetery, Kutztown.
