Michael J. Reinhart

Michael J. Reinhart, 70, passed away on Monday evening, December 26, 2022 at his home in Macungie.

Born March 8, 1952 in Reading, he was the son of the late Donald B. and Janet V. (Sinsky) Reinhart. He and the love of his life, his wife, Pamela K. (Andersen) Reinhart, were married at Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton, on May 25, 1974.

Michael served his country honorably and faithfully as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force for six years.

He was a 1970 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School and went on to receive his degree from Temple University. Michael worked for many years as an electronics teacher at the Bethlehem Vocational-Technical School.

One of the most important activities for Michael every day was reading his bible. Michael was a faithful member of the New Convenent Christian Community Church (NC4), Macungie, where he had been an usher, taught Sunday School, and was in charge of cooking the annual Easter breakfast. He loved photography, cooking, spending time with his family, and playing games with his grandchildren.

Michael will be remembered for his positive outlook in all situations, loving heart, dad jokes, and his superior ability to carve a turkey.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Pam, are his sons, Michael P. Reinhart, husband of Melanie C. (Iannacone) Reinhart, Wyomissing, and Timothy A. Reinhart, husband of Kathryn R. (Dennett) Reinhart, Portland, OR. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Andersen, Nicole and Ryder, his siblings, Sharon A. (Reinhart) Kaufman, Perkasie, Thomas R. Reinhart, husband of Linda Reinhart, Boyertown, Jeffery M. Reinhart, husband of Tara Reinhart, Fleetwood, and John M. Reinhart, Walnuttown, and by many nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole L. Reinhart.

A Memorial Service for Michael will be scheduled at a later date. Private burial will take place in the Baptist Church Cemetery of Macungie.
