Olivia K. (Derr) Schoenly

Olivia K. (Derr) Schoenly, 89, of Boyertown, passed away on Monday morning, Sept. 25, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born October 15, 1927 in Hereford Twp, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Annie (Rauch) Derr. Her husband of 37 years, George L. Schoenly, died January 7, 2006.

Olivia had worked as a lineworker for Tungsol, Boyertown. She had also worked for Boyertown Casket Company sewing linings for caskets. She was a member of Huff's Union Church, Alburtis and the Old Time Plow Boys Club, Kutztown. She enjoyed playing bingo, camping, sewing and crocheting but most of all quilting.

Olivia is survived by her three children, Sandra F. (Eshbach) Shane, wife of Gene Shane, Oley Twp, Winfield A. "Ted" Eshbach Sr., husband of Betty L. (Smith) Eshbach, Rockland Twp, and Elmo P. Eshbach, husband of Natalie (Friz) Eshbach, Earl Twp. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, George, she was preceded in death by her sons, Roland Eshbach and Junior Eshbach Jr. and three grandchildren, Randy, Sherri and Lori and several brothers and sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held for Olivia on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Huff's Union Church, 540 Conrad Rd, Alburtis, PA. A visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in Huff's Union Church Cemetery.
