Patricia A. (Lawrence) Hess

Patricia A. (Lawrence) Hess, 71, of Kutztown, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at her home.

Born January 28, 1951 in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas R. and Constance A. (Gerstle) Lawrence.

Patricia worked for 30 years in the banking industry. She worked for the Bank of Pennsylvania finance department operations center in Muhlenberg for over 20 years. She was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon.

Patricia was a 1968 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School and went on to attend Albright College studying accounting. She also took several banking courses throughout her career. She truly enjoyed bowling, doing ceramics and word searches. Most of all, she adored her family and cherished spending time with Ron and Sue, and her precious grandchildren, Jake and Rachael.

Patricia is survived by her son, Ronald P. Hess Jr., husband of Susan L. (Youse) Hess, Blandon, her grandson, Jacob N. Hess, her granddaughter, Rachael S. Hess, her brother, Guy T. Lawrence, husband of Geilsa Lawrence, Leesport, and by her former husband, Ronald P. Hess Sr., Kutztown.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her grandson, Nathan R. Hess.

Graveside Funeral Services for Patricia will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at Berks County Memorial Gardens, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood.
