Paul A. Kline

Paul A. Kline, 85, of Kutztown, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at his home.

Born March 4, 1931 in Tulpehocken Twp, he was the son of the late John D. and Wilhelmina (Aschenbach) Kline. He and his wife of 64 years, Marie D. (Weber) Kline, were married in Bernville on April 26, 1952.

Paul worked for Confer, Smith & Company, Hamburg, which later became Hamburg Manufacturing, Hamburg. He retired in 1996. He was a member of Friedens Church, Shartlesville along with the Kutztown Fire Company and the Pike Twp Sportsman's Association. He attended the Strausstown Schools.

In addition to his wife, Marie, Paul is survived by his three sons, Barry Lee Kline, husband of Barbara K. (Hoffman) Kline, Kutztown, Donald A. Kline, husband of Cheryl M. (Gogel) Kline, Mertztown and Rodney P. Kline, Kutztown. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and his brother Charles H. Kline, husband of Marian Kline, Strausstown.

Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his great granddaughter Nina M. Kline and his sister Betty M. Sweigart.

Memorial Services for Paul will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 am at Friedens Church, 28 Wolf Creek Rd, Bernville, with the Rev. Susan Ohl officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10 to 11 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Paul's memory may be made to the Friedens Church Memorial Fund, 28 Wolf Creek Road, Bernville, PA 19506.
